The Swiss Club made an outing to the Wakamatsu Farm in Placerville, CA. It was a warm and sunny day in May, but the group was able to hike around the property, learning about the different animals that resided in the area and the humble beginnings of the farm. There was also a presentation from one of the docents who taught about the Japanese Samurai and carpenters who founded the first Japanese colony at Wakamatsu.
